 Lab Training

MLAF is conducting training program through “Model Livestock Institute Dhaka”, which is affiliated by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) under the Technical Education Act, 1967 (E, P. Act NO. 1 of 1967), Section-3. The institute code is 50602. Our goal is to establish a leading training center in Bangladesh focused on building capacity in the livestock sector. We aim to achieve the following objectives:

a) Provide high-quality education through “Certificate in Animal Health and Production” and “Certificate in Poultry Farming.”

b) Organize short-term and customized training programs on livestock management, primary treatments, artificial insemination, aquaculture, and related subjects.

c) Create sustainable self-employment opportunities for both men and women.

d) Develop modern farmers and increase the number of entrepreneurs in the livestock sector.

 Ongoing Training Program

1. Certificate Courses Program

  • Certificate in Animal Health and Production (Total 41 credits)
  • Certificate in Poultry Farming (Total 40 credits)

Course Duration: 1 year (including 2 semesters) + 2 months Internship.

1st semester: July – December; 2nd semester: January – June

Admission requirements: Minimum S.S.C. or equivalent pass

2. Short-Term Training Program

This short-term training program aims to provide livestock farmers and related professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to improve their practices, ensuring better productivity, health, and sustainability in livestock farming.

  • Animal production and health management

Course Duration: 2 to 6 months.

3. Need-based Training Program

This training program is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of livestock farmers, animal health workers, and agricultural extension workers. The program is flexible and can be tailored to meet the specific needs and requirements of the participants, ranging from a brief 1-day workshop to an intensive 30-day course.
